Daikin M111 duplex steel ball valve is made of duplex stainless steel (ferrite and austenite each account for about 50% of the metal, and the content of the lesser phase must be at least 30%). In industrial manufacturing, common duplex steels are 2205, 2507, and 2520 (310S). This type of ball valve has better material performance than conventional 304, 8 nickel 18 chromium stainless steel, has sufficient plasticity and toughness, good local corrosion resistance and good corrosion resistance, and is often used in chloride-rich working environments, such as seawater evaporation systems, marine ships, and marine engineering pipelines; the medium in the pipeline is hydrogen peroxide, caustic soda, hydrochloric acid, etc., especially the performance of resistance to oxidative corrosion makes Daikin M111 duplex steel ball valve an excellent cut-off and cut-off equipment in nitric acid devices and strong organic acids.
The seal of Daikin M111 duplex steel ball valve uses imported PTFE with batch number M111, which is produced in Daikin, Japan. It has better wear resistance, corrosion resistance, temperature resistance and cold resistance than ordinary domestic PTFE. The applicable temperature range is -180℃-200℃. In some occasions with high requirements for corrosion resistance, such as fine chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry, electronics industry and other related fields, it is recommended to use duplex steel ball valves using M111PTFE as seals. It also performs quite well in high or low temperature working environments.
