ASTM A494 M35-1 Ball Valve,PN16,DN50,Flange End
Alloy M35-1 duplex Ball Valve has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking, and useful resistance to pitting. It has a high yield strength that can be typically 25% – 50% greater than conventional austenitic stainless steel.
Sfera flottante, passaggio totale o passaggio ridotto.
Design antistatico e API 607 Fire Safe

ASTM identifies A494/A494M as the specificazione per nickel and nickel-alloy castings intended per corrosion-resistant service. M35-1 composition data are also published In foundry technical references.
2. Critical points to resolve
-
Pressione rating: PN16 alone does not prove that the completed valve is suitable per 16 bar at your operating temperature. Obtain the manufacturer’s pressure-temperature rating.
-
Flangia compatibility: Confirm whether the flanges must comply with IT 1092-1 PN16, another standard, or a project-specific requirement. Check dimensions, facing, and drilling.
-
Wetted materials: Specificare the body, ball, stem, and other pressure-containing or wetted parts separately. Do not assume all components are M35-1.
-
Posto a sedere and packing: Select PTFE, reinforced PTFE, or another suitable material according to fluid compatibility, temperature, and leakage requirements.
-
Test and documentation: Require pressure-test reports, material certificates, and traceability appropriate to the project.
Important: Corrosione resistance is medium-specific. Before approving M35-1, confirm the actual fluid, concentration, temperature, and any contaminants. Materiale selection should be based on those conditions rather than the alloy name alone.
