321 Globe Valve

321 Globe Valve is a globe valve made of 321 stainless steel (UNS S32100 / EN 1.4541 / ASTM A351 CF8C / A182 F321) — a titanium‑stabilized austenitic stainless steel, designed for high‑temperature service, anti‑sensitization, and general corrosion resistance.

Material: 321 Stainless Steel

  • Standard: GB/T 1220, ASTM A240 / A351 / A182, EN 10088‑1
  • Composition: Cr 17–19%, Ni 9–12%, Ti ≥ 5×C% (key addition)
  • Core Properties:

    High‑temperature stability: Usable from ‑196°C to +550°C, short‑term up to 815°C

    Anti‑intergranular corrosion: Titanium binds carbon → no chromium carbide precipitation; no sensitization after welding or heat exposure — biggest advantage over 304/304L

    Corrosion resistance: Good in atmosphere, water, steam, weak acids, organic chemicals; similar to 304 in general media

    Mechanics: Tensile ≥ 515 MPa, Yield ≥ 205 MPa; good ductility & weldability
