Kosen Cast Steel Gate Valves are specifically engineered to achieve minimal leakage, ensuring VOC emissions of less than 100 ppm (parts per million). To meet this requirement, extensive baseline laboratory tests, including both static and cycle testing, have been conducted. These tests help establish the critical design parameters necessary for achieving reliable low-emission sealing at both the stem packing and bonnet gasket sealing areas. In addition, a dedicated in-house testing procedure is periodically carried out to verify that the standard design and manufacturing processes consistently result in a VOC leakage rate not exceeding 100 ppm, prior to shipment.
